Ashi Integrative Health offers Female Pelvic Health Physiotherapy for the assessment and treatment of various conditions that involve the pelvic floor or symptoms that manifest in this area. Pelvic floor physiotherapy aims, as its name suggests, to improve awareness and control of the all-important muscles lining your pelvic floor. The floor is composed of muscles, ligaments, nerves and connective tissue. The pelvic floor plays an important role in maintaining continence, sexual function, core stability and support for the bladder, uterus, and rectum.

An assessment begins with a comprehensive history followed by a physical assessment. Assessment may include observation of your movement patterns, balance, strength, abdominal muscle control, joint range of motion, and assessment of your ability to contract and relax these muscles and their synergy with the other core muscles. You will be offered the option of both an external assessment of the pelvic floor muscles as well as an internal vaginal and/or rectal exam for internal assessment of the pelvic floor. Although internal assessment provides the most accurate assessment, it is not mandatory and you will be given alternative options based on your symptoms and goals

Hello! I’m Meghan Trompetter - an Acupuncturist and Holistic Nutritionist. I have also completed and received my 200hr yoga teacher training in Goa, India, to complement my practice.

Growing up on the West Coast, nature has always been my greatest teacher and inspiration. The beauty and magic of nature drew me to travel across the world for many years and guided me towards the healing arts of Chinese Medicine, nutritional and movement therapies.

My passion for learning and utilizing alternative medicine in my own life, grew into a humbling and extremely nourishing career path. While my practice is ever evolving, presently, I find great honour in treating women through every stage of life, specifically in reproductive and hormone health; fertility, hormone balancing, pregnancy and postpartum care - to name a few. TCM carried me through my own pregnancies and postpartum, and treating mamas to be holds a sacred place in my practice.

I’ve always had a deep love for holistic beauty and received extensive training in facial acupuncture - which is a gentle, natural treatment that supports facial tissues as we age. It can treat concerns such as acne scarring, rosacea, fine lines + wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and more.

I am passionate about sharing the magic that is TCM and educating my patients on the importance of preventative medicine. I care deeply for my patients and look forward to meeting you on your healing journey.
